History
A farmhouse, its ground-plans already recognisable on medieval etchings, changed into a house of trade with a small wine-tarverne in the courseof the centuries.
Parts of the house have remained from the 18th century, while the destruction the 2nd world war made the new construction of the side wing necessary.
Unfortunately, the Nieder-Olm’s Synagoge and jewish school, located next to the site, was destroyed as well. A memorial put up by the community still acts as a reminder.
After a comprehensive renovation, the CB Hotel Becker opened in 1992, while maintaining the charme of the walls.
